OPG
An OPG (Orthopantomagram) is an X-ray-based panoramic scanning of the upper and lower jaw. It shows a flattened two-dimensional view from one ear to the other. OPG demonstrates the number, position, and growth of all the teeth, including those that are yet to surface and is very useful in seeing areas like wisdom teeth or the development of a child's jaw and teeth. It is also often used to check the jaw joints (the TMJ or temporomandibular joint).
