No preparations are needed.
Please carry your medical documents.
You may be asked to remove some clothing and change it into a gown for the exam. Remove jewelry, metallic objects, or clothing that might interfere with the x-ray images.
You may be asked to empty your bladder before the test.
Women should inform about any chance of pregnancy as generally X-ray is not performed on pregnant patients.
Please carry identification proof such as an Aadhar card, pan card etc.

The X-ray imaging is a simple procedure to perform.
The technologist positions you per the protocol and carefully aims the x-ray beam at the area of interest.
You are requested to remain still and may need to hold your breath when asked to do so.
When the examination is complete, the technologist may ask you to wait until the images are verified.
The total duration of the imaging procedure may take upto 15 minutes.
